ASSEMBLY CONCERTS

Music Sparks Imagination Concerts

Music Sparks Imagination Concerts, AEC is able to educate by presenting interactive performances of original music by a live music ensemble to elevate elementary school students' music understanding, utilizing an original illustrated children’s book series AEC produced called, Music Notes Adventures.  The children’s book series is a fantasy fiction storybook that works to promote teaching music theory concepts in a fun, lively way, incorporating vibrant illustrations on a white projector screen as a backdrop, to bring colorful characters to life as real life actors taking the stage to perform a Tableau of scenes taken from the music storybook as projected on the white screen page by page. These narrated live music performances follow the magical adventures of a young girl named Melody, who alongside her music note friends fly around the world on Mrs. Treble Clef rainbow cape, exploring music and culture of each music note character as identified by the hats they wear.

The project,  Music Sparks Imagination Concerts, presents local musicians and dancers in a multidisciplinary concert, an interactive performance to bring to life this music literacy concept children’s book to stage for all students’ to enjoy and learn together! The project works at underserved AISD elementary schools since AEC is a district wide fine arts learning partner and vendor with AISD elementary schools and participating public charter schools across the Austin, Texas region.

The customized interactive performances are priced differently. Please email us at aecproductions@moniquedache.com for a price sheet and customized package options. Or, complete the online form below to signup your school for this unique opportunity!

Professional Development Workshops

Our professional learning workshops emphasize developing unit lesson plans in alignment with the IB method and central idea for successful Arts integration to happen with youth in the primary and middle school years. International Baccalaureate® (IB) professional development (PD) Arts workshops are designed to engage educators and leaders in rich learning experiences and challenging ideas about the IB’s mission related to the Arts. They also serve as a powerful tool to ensure schools meet professional learning requirements.

The professional development workshops are available to schools, teachers, and organizations interested in using the IB method in this Arts context in their classroom with their students. The IB enables students to direct their own learning pathway and develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive and make a lasting difference. It empowers teachers as the architects of learning excellence, working alongside engaged colleagues in a rewarding career supported by a strong global network. And it brings schools a strong reputation for successful outcomes that uplift the whole community.
